The Duke of the Underfoot, Brell Serilis, was one in the group of early gods to invade Veeshan's isolation on Norrath, as he created a portal in the depths of Norrath. This portal lead to a labyrinth made by Brell Serilis himself, and there he seeded the depths of Norrath with all manner of creatures.

As Brell enjoyed the underground, all who follow in his steed also share this trait. The Dwarves of Kaladim claim him to be their true father and savior, as do the Goblins of Norrath.
