Veeshan was the first of the gods to lay eyes on Norrath in early times. As the lord of the Wurms, she found great convenience in the continent of Velious, where she let her brood nest and live. Her title granted her control over all dragons, wurms, and drakes of the universe: only the most powerful of creatures. Veeshan is the ruler of the Plane of Sky, and has no alliance with any other god. She does consider the Duke of the Underfoot, Brell Serilis, and enemy, as he was the first god to interrupt her isolation on Norrath.

Veeshan is well known for traveling the universe, depositing her children on plants, and marking her territory with a giant gash from her terrible claw to let other diets know that she laid claim to these planets. Her mark is known as the Scar of Veeshan, and is left on Velious for all to gaze at.
