The Half Elf is a mix of the Human and Elf races. They look a lot like humans with the exception for their pointed ears. Their main perks are in their heritage and bloodlines, being of both elves and humans, they have many features that each race by itself could not have. They have a good night vision and are quick and nimble, they are also strong and vigorous.

Because the Half Elf is a mixed race, they have many places where their kind is spawned. They may start in Felwithe, Freeport, Kelethin, Qeynos or Faydwer. They are about medium in size compared to other races. A Half Elf can choose to be skilled as a Bard, Druid, Ranger, Paladin, Rogue or Warrior. Half Elves worship just about any deity including Veeshan.

The Half Elves are a mix between the race of Humans and Elves. As a result, Half Elves are taller than their Elven ancestors and carry some of the strength of their human bloodlines. The beauty of the Elves still resides in the Half Elf, even though the rugged Human features do show. It is unfortunate though because the Half Elves do receive much criticism because of their ancestors; shunned by both the Humans and Elves. Sadly, some Half Elves become embittered by the constant difficulty of finding a place in the world and choose a path of thievery. Because of the tensions between some of the other good races with Norrath, many Half Elves choose to reside in Surefall Glade, though some do live in Kelethin, the city of the Wood Elves.
